Regina is a proud native Detroiter,  graduate of Renaissance High School and mother of three. Regina has worked in human services within multiple organizations for almost 20 years. Regina's experience includes non-profit organizations and government services. Regina is the first African American woman to serve in her current role within her organization. Prior to this position, she served as the first regional
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Manager within this same organization.

Regina is a staunch advocate for children and families and enjoys spending her time volunteering and raising awareness.  She has received the Black Excellence Award, “Peer Award of Excellence”, and “Most Innovative” within her various roles inside her current employer. Regina was recently recognized by the National Adoption Association as a “Ujima Leader” and completed a fellowship with AdoptUSKids Minority Professional Leadership Development program. Regina has a Bachelors in Sociology and Human Services Counseling, a Master's in Organizational Management, certification in Diversity Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace and is currently working on certifications in Cultural Intelligence, and Inclusive and Ethical Leadership. Regina also serves on the Lupus Detroit Board of Directors.

Marchelle is a native of Detroit, Michigan. She started her grassroots working in the public sector as a volunteer, providing emergency rent and food relief for Oakland County residents. This position started her foundation to become a full time dedicated public servant.

Marchelle worked 5 years in the Health and Human Service sector providing assistance to families in need. She currently has over 9 years of experience working in the Criminal Justice field, which has been transparent and meaningful. Although the work is challenging and complex at times, its rewarding when helping others to rehabilitate themselves to
become reacclimated into society. Marchelle is a force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to succeed.

Marchelle has a passion for implementing women empowerment events in her spare time. Her bachelor’s degree in management Organization Development which it enhanced her creative skills as a leader and organizer. She likes spending time with family and friends and volunteer her time to the
Greenacres Radio patrol.

Angela has worked within state government for over 13 years. Angela has participated in as well as led special projects/programs and was recognized by leadership for her devoted service.  One role she held and recognized for her overall support and dedication was a Community Resource Liaison Assistant in the development, organization, and execution of numerous community events within her organization and 3rdParty Resources. Angela has led the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee which added enhanced communication, accountability, and employee relations.

Angela shares the same theme of care for her family, she is a pillar within the family and has a true passion for including and ensuring all of her family and extended family (friends) have support and love.  Angela’s motto on life is “Through life, we all have a journey and story, and it brings natural fulfillment to help many others discover their natural talents and abilities, these attributes.“

Felicia is a Journeyman Inside Wireman with IBEW Local 58 in Detroit, Michigan. With more than twenty-five years in the trade she has represented her Local and the IBEW in multiple arenas. She is currently the elected Treasurer, an Organizer, delegate to the Central Labor Council and several other labor and community groups. She is a member of the Community Service, Entertainment, Women’s, PAC, Safety, RENEW, and the Women’s golf team. She is also a National Executive Board member of the EWMC. She believes in action instead of just words and actively participates with labor and community groups through community service and volunteering throughout the community.
 

As a graduate of the University of Michigan and the five-year Inside Construction Apprenticeship program she realizes the benefit of our industry training. She focuses her efforts on outreach and recruitment to those who have never been exposed to this golden pathway to the Middle Class. She believes that the IBEW is full of opportunities and space for anyone who, given the chance, is willing to step up to the challenge.

Connella brings over a decade of dedicated service in education and criminal justice to her role on the Sister’s S.W.A.E. board. She spent more than five years working with the Ypsilanti School District, where she supported students and families with compassion and commitment. For the past six years, she has served in the Criminal Justice Department, continuing her mission to advocate for fairness, accountability, and community well-being.

Her academic journey in psychology and African American studies deepened her understanding of human behavior, cultural identity, and the systemic challenges faced by marginalized communities. This foundation continues to shape her leadership, grounding her advocacy in empathy, awareness, and a commitment to equity.

As Sister’s S.W.A.E.’s Social Media Developer, Connella blends creativity with strategy to amplify the organization’s mission. She curates messaging that is inclusive, empowering, and visually impactful—ensuring that every campaign reflects the values of unity, resilience, and progress.
